Kimberlin Brown originally joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Shelia Carter in 1992 and remained on the series until 1998. In 2002 she reprised the role on fellow soap The Bold and the Beautiful in an extended guest-star stint until 2003. In 2005 the actress returned for a six-month stint in The Young and the Restless. However, the character when last seen had undergone plastic surgery and was recast with actress Michelle Stafford playing the surgery altered Shelia. ![]() If Kimberlin Brown did reprise the role producers and storyliners would need to address that issue but in the world of American soap anything is possible! Fans are already speculating at how the soap may get around the issue with some suggesting the surgery altered Shelia wasn’t her at all. Actress Kimberlin Brown has also appeared in several other daytime soaps. After leaving The Young and the Restless in 1998 she joined the cast of the now defunct soap, Another World, on NBC. Following this she appeared on General Hospital spin-off Port Charles until 2002 and in 2004 appeared in One Life to Live.

Soapcentral.com are reporting that actress Kimberlin Brown could be heading back to daytime soap The Young and the Restless to reprise her role of villainess Shelia Carter. Although nothing official has been announced yet by CBS or the production team behind the soap rumour has it that the actress has been approached and has agreed to reprise her role – signing a contract for a year. Of course this is nothing but rumour at the moment but not so long ago it was reported the actress had been approached to reprise the role for sister daytime soap, The Bold and the Beautiful.
