On BBC Two the latest installment of Lambing Live, with Kate Humble, held steady with 2.4 million viewers at 8pm. The channel saw ratings rise slightly at 9pm for the start of the new three-part series Inside John Lewis which chronciles the posh department stores attempts to beat the recession. The documentary was filmed at several of the chains department stores last year and interested 2.7 million viewers last night. BBC One’s Masterchef had 3.8 million at 8pm and 3.6 million at 9pm for Famous, Rich and Jobless. Football coverage on ITV1 had 7.4 million just putting it narrowly behind Emmerdale’s ratings while Relocation, Relocation had 1.8 million for Channel Four at 8pm and 1.3 million for Desperate Housewives at 9pm. The return of Gossip Girl to ITV2 for the remainder of its season three episodes had 249, 000 viewers – a new series high for the teen-drama. |
