Actor John Barrowman appeared on BBC One’s chat-show Friday Night
Barrowman had previously been confident over the shows future stating he believed the BBC would renew it for a fourth season – sometime in 2010. However, as yet there has been no official word from the corporation regarding the future of the Doctor Who spin-off. In January though it emerged that BBC Worldwide and Fox were working on a possible spin-off from Torchwood set in America. Reports suggested that Torchwood’s creator and executive producer Russell T. Davies was working on the project alongside Julie Gardner. It was also suggested that should the pilot actually be picked up by Fox that Barrowman could appear in it as Captain Jack Harkness.
