Lost actor Daniel Dae Kim is to star in the CBS remake of Hawaii Five-abc0, the classic 1970s cop-drama series. The actor is to remain in Hawaii, where Lost is filmed, to star in the new Hawaii Five-0 which is being made for CBS. The classic cop-drama has long been rumoured to make a comeback but it wasn’t until earlier this year that it was confirmed that CBS were indeed producing a pilot episode for a remake. Lost actor Daniel Dae Kim will play Detective Chin Ho Kelly, originally played by Kam Fong in the original series. The part of Detective Steve McGarrett has yet to be cast but Moonlight actor Alex O’Loughlin is in talks for the role. Fringe co-creators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who also wrote the recent Star Trek film, are behind the new project.
