tuned in for the latest installment. Interesting the results show later in the evening wasn’t too far behind that figure with 4.8 million viewers. Sandwiched between the two editions of So You Think You Can Dance was the National Lottery Show which saw ratings climb to 5.4 million viewers. Later in the evening on BBC One medical drama Casualty was seen by 5.8 million viewers. On BBC Two The Virtual Revolution had nearly 1 million viewers while QI XL had 1.9 million viewers. The latest edition of American import Heroes didn’t rate so well though for the channel at 10pm with 740,000 viewers – the lowest rating for the series on BBC Two so far. In the USA Heroes has also been suffering from declining ratings with less than 5 million viewers tuning in per episode now. There’s some speculation that broadcaster NBC will cancel the show at the end of its fourth season. 
Over on ITV1 and Harry Hill’s TV Burp had 7 million viewers at 7pm but ratings dropped at 7.30 when Take Me Out, the new dating series, logged 5 million viewers – a drop of 2 million viewers. Later in the evening All Star Mr & Mrs saw 4.8 million viewers. 
On Sunday evening and BBC One’s period drama Lark Rise to Candleford continued its steady performance as the third season airs – the latest episode drew 6.3 million viewers at 8pm. Following the drama at 9pm was David Dimbleby’s new documentary series Seven Ages of Britain which had 4.3 million viewers. Dancing on Ice on ITV1 had 8.2 million viewers with its results show – in which Heather Mills was voted off – had 7.5 million viewers. African based drama Wild at Heart, sandwiched between the two instalments, pulled in 7.3 million viewers. I'm surprised Heather lasted so long to be honest. I find her just as annoying a Jedward but then look how far they got.

Saturday: On BBC One on Saturday evening dancing competition So You Think You Can Dance recovered somewhat from last week’s ratings tumble. The Cat Deeley fronted series lost 1.2 million viewers last week when it aired in an earlier slot but this week there were signs of recovery as 4.9 million viewers
Sunday Evening:
Elsewhere the new season of 24 doesn’t seem to be interesting viewers for Sky One according to figures. The series returned in January with just over 700,000 viewers but last night’s double-bill pulled in 600,000 viewers and then 435,000 viewers – a new series low for the American drama on Sky One. Being Human on BBC Three also saw a drop in viewers as just under a million viewers tuned in.
