Survivors, a re-imaging by Adrian Hodge of the classic 1970s series which was created by Terry Nation. The second season concluded its six-part run on BBC One on Tuesday evening with an audience of 4 million viewers but ratings for the second season were down on its first series in 2008 prompting speculation from some that the BBC would cancel the series. The series ended with a cliff-hanger as the character of Tom [Max Beasley] stowed away onboard a plane headed for an unknown destination.
